Onion Projects workshops

Onion Projects offers a range of creative workshops designed to explore the common ground between spirituality, culture and our daily lives. These events are participatory and reflective, and encourage participants to share their insights and experiences in a relaxed and renewing atmosphere.

Our workshops are suitable for arts centres, colleges, churches and community groups, and and can be tailored to specific requirements.

The following workshops have proved popular and can be delivered anywhere in England.

	A Day with RS Thomas with Simon Keyes	A chance to read and listen to the voice of the major British religious poet of the late 20th century. Includes a specially-made video shot in North Wales.
	Love Bade Me Welcome with Simon Keyes	A chance to really listen to some of the greatest poems in the English language by George Herbert. Why do they affect us so deeply? Why have they inspired so many musicians? And what can stained glass teach us?
	A Day with Olivier Messiaen with Simon Keyes	A day of colour, birdsong and the end of time. An accessible introduction to the religious music of the great modern French composer.
	Spiritual Cinema with Simon Keyes	Explpre how films can enrich our spiritual journeys by giving us metaphors, myths and the occasional glimpse of the transcendent. Illustrated with a dozen film clips
